After overcoming addiction and chronic pain, she found healing through yoga and has spent over 25 years helping others do the same. She is known for guiding accessible, somatic practices that restore strength, mobility, and self-trust in the second half of life. Recognized as a pioneer in yin yoga and published author in Yoga Journal, she spent years running a community-based yoga studio dedicated to inclusion and accessibility.
