Elaine N. Aron, Ph.D.

Elaine N. Aron, Ph.D., has been researching sensory processing sensitivity since 1992 and, besides scientific articles, has written The Highly Sensitive Child, The Highly Sensitive Person in Love, The Highly Sensitive Person Workbook, and The Undervalued Self. With her husband, Art Aron, she is also well known for her study of close relationships. She trained at the San Francisco Jung Institute and maintains a psychotherapy practice in the Bay Area as well as teaching public and professional workshops.
