Booklist - Oct 2019
Knitters are often looking for quick projects that don’t require a significant monetary investment in yarn. This collection (previously published as 100 Little Knitted Gifts to Make, 2016) is a compilation of selected projects from the 16 books in the Twenty to Make series and includes a variety of hats, wristlets, stuffed toys, tea cozies, boot cuffs, replicas of plants and foods, scarves, baby booties, and assorted household and crafty items. Patterns will be accessible to beginner to intermediate knitters and all are written (with an occasional chart for items with colorwork). Each project features at least one color photograph of the finished object in which the stitch detail can easily be inspected. Most projects require no more than two balls of yarn and should take no more than a handful of hours (some far less) to complete. A brief introductory guide provides some fundamental information on gauge, abbreviations, and selected types of stitches and techniques, but does not include detailed instructions on how to knit. The finished projects are by turns serviceable, cute, and amusing.

Postcard Reviews August 2019

100 projects are packed into this beautiful glossy book. Knitters will adore the ideas that are taken from the ‘Twenty to Make’ books. Knitting know how, techniques and easy to follow instructions give even a beginner all they need to create a stunning and useful item. From headbands to a Curious Sheep, the projects are fun and wonderful. Some projects make you smile, and the kids will love them. The Peas in a Pod would be a welcome addition to any childs toy kitchen, and the Teddy Bears are gorgeous. Some projects use just a small amount of yarn so are brilliant for stash busting and using up those annoying leftovers from other projects. This is a bright and colourful book and filled with knitting inspiration.
Highly recommended
