Kathryn Smith has worked as an editor and writer of children's books for over 25 years. She specializes in children's preschool and novelty books, and has collaborated with her Paper-Engineer husband on many pop-up titles. Next to children's books and reading, her big love is gardening, and she spends many hours moving plants around her limited patch in the endless quest for the perfect planting scheme. She lives in the Georgian city of Bath with her husband, two teenage children, a very big dog and a very small cat.

Seb Braun was born in Strasbourg, France. As a child he spent countless hours drawing, but at secondary school there were no art classes, so he filled his homework with doodles and portraits of his teachers. Apart from creating pictures, Seb's favorite pastimes are making toys from wood, playing with his children and climbing the Cotswold hills on his vintage road bike.
