An alphabetical introduction to the United States for the youngest of readers, just in time to celebrate America’s 250th anniversary!

A is for America, the land of the free. B is for bald eagle, the country’s national bird. C is for cowboy boots, worn out on the ranch. In this celebration of the United States, there’s a classic American symbol for each letter of the alphabet. Featuring bold, dynamic art that promotes engagement for curious minds, this educational and patriotic book highlights American culture, history, and more for little ones.
J. D. Forester (she/her) lives on a farm in Connecticut. She is the author of several books for young readers.

Henry Rancourt (he/him) lives in Cleveland, Ohio. There, he completed his bachelor of fine arts in illustration at the Cleveland Institute of Art. He works digitally using a variety of textures and materials to give his illustrations a whimsical nostalgic feel. In 2021, he showed work in the Society of Illustrators of Los Angeles West 59 show and the dPictus Unpublished Picturebook Showcase. In his free time, he loves biking and reading a good book.
