Jason, Kass, Helen and Hector are off to participate in the Olympics! But when they get there, all is not as it seems. Can the demigods unravel the mystery before things take a dark turn?

Mount Olympus Mysteries is a new series of Hi-Lo chapter books tailored for readers aged 10–14 who need support. With exciting line art illustrations in every chapter and gripping storylines, these action-packed tales will engage readers from beginning to end.

Each book in this series follows a group of teenage demigods in Ancient Greece who didn't inherit any god-like powers but still prove their worth to the gods by solving mysteries and problems. Even though they are disappointed that they don't have "powers" like other demigods, the characters discover their skills and overcome self-doubt.

The series is carefully written with a focus on morphology, which is critically important for improving spelling and reading comprehension. This third book in the series focuses on negative prefixes.

Serving as a vital bridge between decodable and mainstream books, the Mount Olympus Mysteries will empower readers to confidently understand meaning from text alone, allowing them to become fluent independent readers.
Phonic Books specialises in publishing decodable, synthetic phonics books for beginner readers and reading catch-up. Phonic Books was founded by three special needs teachers passionate about teaching all children to read. Using their expertise, they set about developing phonics reading books for young children and older readers who need support. View titles by Phonic Books
