This high-contrast baby book features striking black-and-white sports artwork designed to support your baby’s visual development. The unique accordion-style format stands upright on its own—making it perfect for tummy time!
Infants are born with limited vision and respond best to bold images, which makes this high-contrast board book an ideal first book for developing eyes. Featuring fine art illustrations of classic sports gear—like soccer balls, baseball gloves, footballs, and more—this book introduces babies to the exciting world of sports from day one.
Designed by Tabitha Paige—artist, speech pathologist, and author of the best-selling Our Little Adventures series—each illustration combines developmental benefits with life-like imagery that can grow with your child and help build early vocabulary.
The fold-out accordion design makes this book as functional as it is beautiful. Use it during tummy time, prop it up during diaper changes, or lay it flat for early play and bonding. Whether you're reading with your baby or giving them space to explore on their own, this book is made to support every stage of early learning.
Just one note: while this book is a hit with babies, it’s not toddler-proof. If it turns into a pile of loose flash cards thanks to curious hands, consider it a bonus feature for future learning adventures!
“As a physical therapist I love finding creative, meaningful gifts related to movement and well-being. For my friends and family expecting little ones, contrast books have been my go-to for nurturing developmental milestones. What makes this book stand apart, however, is the beautiful hand illustrated pictures. It's an absolute tummy time work of art!" —E. Ashworth, PT, Doctor of Physical Therapy
"Every one of Tabitha Paige's books is so charming and refreshing for my little one's library. Not only are they developmentally appropriate and truly target a child's visual abilities and developing brain, but they are beautifully illustrated and also double as unique and lovely nursery decor! The themes she uses are universal, the stories are precious, and the colors are rich but not overstimulating. Truly a keepsake!" —Tiffany Caldwell
“Tabitha is a master at infusing a nostalgic aesthetic into all her books with her realistic, yet approachable artwork that adorn the pages inside. Everything she touches becomes an instant classic that is sure to grace homes and hearts for decades to come.” —Korie Herold, author and artist
