Turn back time and relive the dazzling, fearless fashion of Cher with this bold, fabulous paper doll book.

Cher is more than a music legend—she’s a fashion icon known for her unapologetic glamour and trailblazing style. Style Icons: Cher features a press-out Cher mannequin and ten of her most unforgettable looks, illustrated with flair by Helen Green.

From the sheer Bob Mackie showstoppers of the ’70s to her wild, punk-inspired MTV moments and red-carpet reinventions, each outfit captures the essence of Cher’s one-of-a-kind aesthetic.

With looks that pushed boundaries and redefined stage and red carpet fashion, this book celebrates the star who made every entrance a moment—and every outfit a statement.
Elizabeth Weitzman is an acclaimed film critic and the author of several pop culture books, including the bestselling Hollywood history Renegade Women in Film & TV. She has covered entertainment for Marie Claire, Harper’s Bazaar, Interview, Smithsonian and The New York Times–among others–and has interviewed hundreds of actors, filmmakers, and musicians. (Cher was by far the most fun.) She has a master's degree in Cinema Studies from NYU, and speaks regularly on film at universities and cultural institutions around the world. Helen Green is a freelance illustrator based in Birmingham, UK. She graduated in 2014 with a first-class BA (Hons) in Illustration at Birmingham Institute of Art and Design. Helen focuses mainly on portraiture—often inspired by the music she enjoys. In 2011 she was fortunate to have her work admired by one of her favorite artists, Lady Gaga, which led to Helen working on projects for her and the Born This Way Foundation. Since then, Helen has enjoyed working for a wide variety of clients, with her work generally lending itself to areas such as editorial, book covers, and merchandise.
