A 1,000-piece jigsaw puzzle of an iconic landscape illustration from book designer and artist Brian Cook.

Lose yourself in the rolling hills based loosely on the headlands of Great and Little Hangman, North Devon. This inviting scene, available as a jigsaw puzzle for the first time, featured on the dust jacket of the 1933 book Landscape of England by Charles Bradley Ford. The illustration was also exhibited at the Arts Council exhibition Landscapes in Britain 1850–1950 at the Hayward Gallery in 1983.

The box includes 1,000 jigsaw pieces in a sustainable paper bag. Once completed, the puzzle measures 70 cm x 50 cm.
Brian Cook designed book jackets for B. T. Batsford through the 1930s and 1940s that are much-loved, timeless pieces of illustrative art and highly collectable. The Cathedrals of England from the same popular heritage book series is also available as a jigsaw puzzle.
