Julia Nam, a girl on the go in the pool or out in her community center, is back in this buoyant third book in the illustrated chapter book series Julia on the Go, for ages 7 and up.  For fans of Mindy Kim and Jasmine Toguchi.

Fresh off the Southwest Regional, The Vipers swim team is basking in the glow of a successful meet. Everybody except Julia. She couldn't compete and it’s still bothering her. Just once she would like to know the feeling of getting a shiny medal around her neck.

Back in the water, she wants to keep training harder than ever, but a faulty pump in the aquatic center's pool spells big problems for that plan. How can Julia keep swimming when the pool is going to be closed indefinitely for maintenance? Luckily Coach Marissa has some ideas to keep the Vipers in a competitive mood. She has something very special she wants to give to the MVP of this new dryland training program and Julia will do whatever it takes to win — including something she's not proud of.
ANGELA AHN is a former teacher and librarian. She is the author of several children's books, including Swimming Into Trouble, The Big Splash, Team Park, Krista Kim-Bap, and Peter Lee's Notes from the Field, which was shortlisted for the Governor General's Award and the OLA Silver Birch Award, and was named a USBBY Outstanding International Book. She lives in Vancouver, BC, with her family. View titles by Angela Ahn
JULIE KIM is an author and illustrator living in Seattle, USA. A graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design, her illustrations have been featured in several children's books, including My Special Space and Mysterious Spinners.
