Join Tyrannosaurus rex Baby Dino as he journeys through Dragonfly Pose, Mountain Pose, Downward Dog, and more in this charming picture book featuring a simple, fifteen-pose yoga sequence for kids who love dinosaurs

Newly hatched T-rex Baby Dino wants to explore his world. Taking his cues from the prehistoric landscape around him—a mountain, a pool, a swaying palm, dragonflies, and pterodactyls—he moves through fourteen easy-to-do yoga poses until deciding it’s time for a rest in Relaxation Pose. The spare, rhyming prose will delight young readers and make it easy for them to remember the poses. Parents can join in too, for a healthful family activity. Beautifully illustrated with line drawings and full-color digital collage inspired by the natural world, this delightful book introduces children ages three to seven to the fun, calming effects of yoga.
Dino Does Yoga is the single most tender-hearted yoga book for kids I’ve ever seen. If you want to offer your child a book to inspire them to connect with their body in a practical way, while simultaneously conveying the sweetness of yoga’s heart, get this book. I can’t wait to share it with my little nephew, Jack!”
—Katie Silcox, New York Times best-selling author of Healthy Happy Sexy: Ayurveda Wisdom for Modern Women

“Sometimes I feel like a dinosaur, so I am serious about my dino yoga practice.”
—Stanley Mouse, psychedelic rock-poster legend

Dino Does Yoga is a fantastic addition to the collection of children’s books inspiring
kids to start their yoga journey. It’s engaging and smartly written, with clever use of
yoga poses my kids can relate to.”
—Greg Brenton, brand director of Yoga Journal
Sofie Engström von Alten has a bachelor's degree in fine arts and is a TEFL/TESOL certified teacher. She is also an International Yoga Alliance instructor and teaches yoga classes for kids. She taught English and art to children in Germany and saw a marked increase in concentration, overall happiness, and a decrease in bullying when she brought yoga practice into her classroom. Sofie loves to travel and has been on every continent. She first discovered yoga as a child, watching her mother do Downward Dog.
