However, Johns is best known for bringing Hal Jordan back to the pages of Green Lantern and helming Infinite Crisis, the best-selling sequel to DC’s famous Crisis on Infinite Earths. He was also one of the creative forces behind the hit weekly series 52 and later turned his magic touch to the Silver Age once more by bringing back Barry Allen in Flash: Rebirth. Johns has won Wizard magazine’s Best Writer award four years straight and has written episodes of the Blade, Justice League Unlimited and Smallville TV shows. He maintains a writing studio in Los Angeles with fellow luminaries Jeph Loeb and Allan Heinberg.
