    There are almost a billion pigs in the world. China has the most pigs of any country, nearly 500 million. The United States has a little over 60 million. Fifteen million of those pigs live in Iowa, where it’s cold. Nearly 10 million live in North Carolina, where it’s hot. Only about 1,000 t-t-t-teeth-chattering piggies live in Alaska, where it’s freezing.
