Have you heard of ADHD? A person with ADHD has a unique way of experiencing the world around them, and sometimes, that can feel challenging. But this author believes there are powerful skills that come with this special way of experiencing life—and as a person with ADHD, she knows it’s true! Everybody’s brain works differently, and how cool is that?

Meet A Kids Co., a new kind of media company with a collection of beautifully designed books that kickstart challenging, empowering, and important conversations for kids and their grownups.
Elly Both (she/her) wrote this book to help kids with ADHD understand that despite the challenges they face, they are wonderful, smart humans with unique strengths and abilities. When Elly was growing up, she was often daydreaming, talking too much, and worrying a lot. She didn’t understand why she felt or acted the way she did, and she felt a lot of guilt and shame.

It wasn’t until Elly was diagnosed with ADHD when she was 44 years old that so many things became clear. Elly hopes that in writing this book she can help kids with similar experiences understand and accept themselves for who they are—and discover their superpower! View titles by Elly Both
