After a long day of rain, a father and daughter venture into the night in search of treasure. Under glowing streetlamps, they find orange leaves and berries strung like beads on vines. But none are quite what Quinn is searching for. She keeps hunting until... there! Under an oak that soars to the sky are acorns that shine like little moons. Allison Wortche is a fifteen-year veteran of the children's publishing industry. After graduating from the College of William and Mary, she edited books at Knopf BFYR before becoming a freelance editor. She is the author of Ruby and the Itsy-Bitsy (Icky) Bug, Oliver's Lollipop, and Rosie Sprout's Time to Shine, as well as the I Love Science board book series. Allison lives in New York.
