MARCIE COLLEEN is a former classroom teacher turned author. She is the acclaimed author of numerous children's books, including Happy Friendsgiving, Penguinaut!, Survivor Tree, and the Super Happy Party Bears chapter book series. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Education of English and Language Arts and a master’s degree in Educational Theater. Although she will always be a Brooklynite at heart, Marcie lives in San Diego, California with her husband and a beloved herd of stuffed animals.

LAURA SANDOVAL HERRERA is a Mexican author-illustrator living in Brooklyn. Her colorful color palette and love of magic is inspired by her childhood spent in the small city of Querétaro, Mexico. When she is not drawing you can usually find Laura playing with her dog Scribble, wandering around the city, or working at her local print studio.
