This deck was crafted with the intention of being a supportive tool for birthing people, their partners, birth workers, and tarot readers to navigate pregnancy without the need to be well-versed in tarot.

During pregnancy, sensitivities and intuition are heightened. How do you work with that, though? It can feel overwhelming to think about where to begin. This oracle deck creates an opportunity to work with your intuition and sensitivities, to simplify the messages you are receiving and usher in clarity, while still leaving room for you to connect with spirit and expand in a personalized way. Because every pregnancy is different, the guidance and messages for each of us are different, too. Working with this deck aids in building a strong relationship with this version of your intuition by affirming what you may already know. This will lead to greater confidence and trust in your abilities.

When interpreting the cards, I advise you to consult the interpretations, but you don’t need to rely on them. Build a personal connection with and understanding of what the illustrations are conveying to you and why you’re being brought a certain message. What is the deeper meaning in regards to your personal situation? What is hidden within the message? What is the energy around it? What can you take away from it?

You may have heard of reading tarot cards reversed, which typically hold the opposite meaning of the cards in the upright position. Some interpret this as being the negative if the card is usually a positive one. While there are more interpretations based on how readers work with their decks, that is often developed with time. In a similar way, some of the cards in the deck have additional meanings, although the cards don’t need to be reversed to carry the alternate readings. Such cards may represent an expansion on the message you’re receiving or help you better understand a given spread.

A note for readers and birth workers: This deck allows guidance from spirit to flow through freely while still being structured. This enables you and your clients to connect in a way that makes them feel supported but does not take away from your personal touch. I encourage you to show your clients the card images, even if doing a reading over the phone via a video call or sending photos of the spreads you’ve done, because it will help them get the full picture.
