Dr. Jane Goodall, renowned primatologist, conservationist, and environmental activist, passed away at the age of 91 on October 1, 2025.
A trailblazer for women in science, Dr. Goodall first made her mark in the 1960s while researching chimpanzees in Tanzania, revealing their intelligence and intricate community structures. She went on to advocate for the natural world in all its forms and encouraged humanity to recognize our role in being good stewards to our one and only home, Earth.
