BETSEYGAIL RAND is a professor of mathematics at Texas Lutheran University. Betseygail lives in San marcos, Texas, with her husband, daughter, and two cats. In her free time, she plays soccer, writes and records songs, and talks on the phone with her mother, Colleen.
