Note From The Author: It’s okay to not have it all together. Let me say that again. It’s okay to not have it all together.
My name is Courtney and I don’t have it all together. I’m human, and like everyone, I get impatient. I struggle with anxious thoughts. I lose my temper. I often don’t feel qualified. I find myself living in an achievement mindset and feel less than when I don’t meet the expectations around me. It’s exhausting and it’s draining, and if you’re reading this, I imagine you feel the same anxieties and insecurities from time to time.
But it doesn’t have to be this way. There is grace from our Savior.
I wrote this 30-day women’s devotional to provide encouragement for whatever you might be facing in this season of your life. I want to remind you that there is hope, there is grace, and that His grace is enough.
30 Days of Encouragement: Each section addresses a common struggle or topic—like feeling restless, worried, fearful, or jealous—and is intended to meet you where you are today. You can read the book from start to finish, or flip to the section that speaks to you in that moment. My hope is that this book gives you the Scripture, inspiration, and prayers you need for every feeling and every challenge life throws your way.
Minimalist, Modern Design: The minimalist artwork and design was created by a dear friend whom I met through the church. I hope it brings you a sense of calm as you flip through the pages. The text on the cover of the book and on the section headers falls slightly off the edge of the page. Yep, that’s intentional! To me, it represents the fact that we don’t have to be “perfect.” We don’t have to “hold it together” all the time.
I want you to know that you are not alone. I want you to know your struggles are real. I want you to feel validated in your feelings, anxieties, and insecurities. But I also want you to know there is hope. You do not have to continue searching this world and coming up empty. The search is over because Jesus is hope and Jesus is all you need! His grace abounds and His grace is enough!
Love,
Courtney
