Her work has been published in High Country News, Yes!, Guernica, and Indian Country Today. She earned bachelor’s degrees in environmental journalism and Spanish from Western Washington University. She's an amateur beekeeper living in Portland, Oregon with her husband, cat, and thousands of honeybees.
