A man of two worlds, Arthur Curry is both the super hero Aquaman and King of the legendary Atlantis.

The inhabitants of the fabled underwater continent have never taken easily to the idea of a half-human ruler, but now the kingdom itself is rejecting Arthur’s claim to the throne. To stop the devastating seaquakes that are literally tearing his home in two, Arthur will have to delve deep into the mysterious history of Atlantis, confronting secrets from his own past he thought long-buried!

In AQUAMAN VOL. 6, acclaimed storytellers Jeff Parker (BATMAN ‘66) and Paul Pelletier (SUPERMAN) unleash a Maelstrom of change on the King of Atlantis! Collects AQUMAN #32-40 and stories from SECRET ORIGINS #2 and #5.
“With a winning balance of intrigue, action, and sentimental reflection, this issue further establishes Parker as a worthy heir to the Aquaman throne.”—IGN

“Jeff Parker is one of the most skilled writers in comics when it comes to understanding the fundamental qualities that make certain characters appealing.”—AV CLUB/THE ONION

"AQUAMAN does a great job of standing apart, while remaining plugged in to the rest of the DC Universe, continuing to add to larger picture around the maritime legend.”—COMIC BOOK RESOURCES
Jeff Parker gained wide acclaim in the last decade writing at Marvel with his runs on big action books such as Thunderbolts and Hulk, as well as developing new titles like Agents of Atlas and X-Men: First Class. He came to DC to help launch BATMAN ’66, the first comics version of the iconic TV show, and has recently launched a new incarnation of classic comics strip hero Flash Gordon. Among his original creations are the sci-fi and adventure graphic novels The Interman and Underground, as well as the dark paranormal humor of MYSTERIUS THE UNFATHOMABLE.
